Hello Happiness

It seems I found you in an impossible place

I searched far and wide…

Over mountains and streams

In and out of years

Across several decades

Feverishly chasing 10,000 things

Leaving me spent, tired and sad

I searched high and low…

And thought for a brief moment I found you

At the top of the ladder

Driving the most luxurious of cars

Living in the most expensive homes

Elusive you proved to be and slipped from my grasp

I was left holding disappointment, loneliness and lack.

I searched without…

In their compliments

In their approval

In their ever changing opinions

A mirage it turned out

Instead I found criticism, hurt and doubt.

I searched within

Diving deep into the depths of my soul

Swimming through the murk and mire

Drowning

Then settling

Sinking

Into

Stillness

There is sat for a good, long while

Making friends with regret, loneliness and loss

Doing nothing

Making friends with rage, hostility and hurt

Nothing was left undone

I made friends with all those parts of me I once denied

Until I was left with

I am

And that’s when I found You

You, who never left

You… forever by my side

In this present moment

Hey God Spark!

Did you know that I am always working for YOU?

I am

If you will, I move heaven and earth just so that the thought seed you plant and nurture in the garden of your mind will manifest.

I do this because I am you.

I am the One Thing.

Everything that is, comes out of the One Thing.

If I am the One Thing and I am also you, then you too must be the One Thing.

Therefore, everything that is, comes out of you.

This is the most difficult truth.

Abide in Me

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it will be done for you.

Abide in Me, God Spark. Don’t run away from the present moment.

I dwell there, always.

I am

I am never more than a conscious breath away

I am in the tempest

I am in the tranquility

I am in the anguish

I am in the rapture

I am in the dreadful

I am in the superb

I am in all things

I dwell there with you. Never do I leave. Never do I hide. I am transparent, open, honest, inviting, and straightforward. I am not a puzzle to solve. I am not a mystery to unravel. I simply am.

If you want to find me, just be

If you want to know me, just be

There is no place you can go that you will not find me.

Forget all your worries. Throw them aside, knowing and trusting you are safe.

You are completely safe.

Trust the right here, right now completely. Trust Life. Trust the present moment.

Embrace everything that shows up.

Embrace all of it.

Own it. Claim it. Use it.

If you think it is bad, find the good.

If you think it is good, find the bad.

Learn that it all just is. And what is, is perfect just the way it is.

When you discover this, the magic of the universe reveals itself to you.

Then you walk in your true personal power.

Is it possible to balance action and non-action?

And when do we come to a place where we are so in tune with life that it becomes a dance? A beautiful, perfectly timed dance.

It has been brought to my attention that perhaps the best way to learn something is to first just sit with it. This is the ultimate non-action. It is allowing the object or concept to be. Sitting with what is, in that moment. Not asking it to fulfill you. Not asking it to perform. Just getting to know that thing you would like to do, by allowing it first to be.

And so in the spirit of non-action…

I sit with my ideas, my dreams, and my desires.

Allowing them space.

Not asking questions. Just allowing them to be.

Not forcing them to fulfill me but being fulfilled in the moment they are nothing more than thoughts in my head.

Not urging them to sustain me but being sustained in the moment they are nothing more than tiny seeds beginning to sprout.

Not compelling them to complete me but being complete in the moment they grow to maturity.

Not coercing them to define me but being an accurate interpretation of myself in the moment fruit springs forth.

In this way, I tend my garden.

Knowing I am fulfilled, sustained, complete and perfect in each passing moment. Finding God in all those things that surround me in each present moment.

Realizing, I am home… with God

Did you know that I dwell always in the present moment?

If you are looking for me I am always and ever right in front of you. I surround you. I enfold you. I animate you.

You don’t need to do anything more than be present, accept fully and completely what is right before you, and lean into me. I am right here. I am here now. I am.

Trust in Life with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
